Streamlight ProTac HP-X USB
The ProTac HP-X USB is a high-candela tactical light built for one thing above all: reach. Its 105,000-candela beam throws 648 meters, far enough to identify a landmark or a threat well across open ground, and its tightly focused output cuts through smoke, fog, and rain where a floodier light would wash out. Like the best preparedness gear it is multi-fuel: run the included USB-C rechargeable SL-B26 pack day to day, or drop in two CR123A lithium cells when there is no way to charge. TEN-TAP programming sets the switch behavior, the 6000-series aluminum body is Mil-Spec anodized, and it carries an IP68 rating, dust-tight and submersible. This is the long-range light in the Go Bag, the one that reaches when the others only fill the space in front of you.
