Get Home Bag

A get home bag is the kit you keep at work or in the car for the day the plan falls apart: transit stops, roads close, phones go down, and you are on foot with real distance between you and home. This is not a bug-out bag and it is not a backpacking kit. It is built for one job, done well: getting one person the eight to twenty-four hours back home, safely.

Every serious organization keeps a continuity plan for exactly this kind of disruption. A get home bag is the household version of that plan, a decision made in advance so the worst commute of your life is not also the moment you are trying to figure everything out from scratch.

What it covers:

• A capable, low-profile pack you can actually move in
• Navigation and light for finding your way after dark
• First aid for the blisters, cuts, and small injuries that stop a walk
• Water, and a way to treat more along the route
• Food to keep you moving and power to keep your phone alive

Choose the level that fits you, add for your situation, and we pack it by hand and ship it as one kit. Ready the day it arrives.
