How it compares
The AMK Trauma Tourniquet is an elastic wrap style, similar in concept to the SWAT-T. Windlass tourniquets like the SOF Tactical Tourniquet and SAM XT tighten with a rod and are the style most often taught in Stop the Bleed courses. If you want hemostatic gauze and a trauma pad as well, the AMK Trauma Pak Pro includes this tourniquet.
